What makes Phuket an Exciting Place for a Family Holiday

What are your plans for this year’s family holiday?

Is it a trip to Disney World, again?

Or, maybe a road trip to visit all the National Parks in the United States?

Whatever your original idea is, let’s throw this balloon up: A family holiday to Phuket!

You can rest assured that there are plenty of activities that have both thrill and astonishment with the convenience and comfort for families. You won’t have to worry about everyone in the family having a good time while one member watches from the sidelines.

The collection of experiences to have and activities to do in Phuket vary from hiking through the different forests and jungles in the daytime to watching a traditional dance at night.

If your spouse or partner is worried about what the kids will do, you can calm them down after reading this post.

Here are the best activities that make Phuket an exciting place for your next family holiday.

Visit Phuket Fantasea

This place houses different local vendors selling things ranging from silk scarves to jeweled gems and street artists and performers. As you walk through this place, you’ll be surrounded by decorative Thai buildings that are built with traditional architecture techniques.
If you walk even further through the neighborhood, you’ll find yourself at the entrance of the Palace of Elephants. A lavish and impressive building that mimics the Royal Thai Palace. Along the Palace of Elephants, you’ll find elephant statues.

Canoe in Phang Nga Bay

Take an exploration day and go discover the limestone caves for a day. You can hire a guide to take you on a pump-up canoe (completely safe). You’ll travel through low ceiled caves and discover the secreted world of Thailand’s caves.

It gives enough thrill to the ones who want something exciting while not scaring the ones who want something tamer.

You’ll be transported from your hotel to the canoe port, where you’ll meet your guide. Your guide will do most of the rowing while you can relax, see the sites, and listen to the sounds around you. The guide will also explain what you see and answer any of your questions.

Cruise Around Phi Phi by Boat

Sign up for a speedboat tour and site see around the Phi Phi islands for a day. It will be hands-off experience since food and drinks will be taken care of. You can focus on your kids having fun and being safe.

On the tour, you’ll see splendid views of limestone cliffs that tower over the clear crystal-blue waters. At some point, you’ll have lunch and be able to do snorkeling in the waters themselves!
If you really want to see something spectacular, look for a tour that includes the Viking Cave and Monkey Beach to see monkeys from the boat. Monkeys can grab things from your hands so be glad you’ll be in the safety of the boat.

As Seen in James Bond

Take another cruise around Phang Nga Bay and look for the famous rock that was used in the James Bond movie. The rock is called Ko Tapu and rises to a sky reaching a height of 66 feet.

From there, take a canoe to the Talu Island to see the stalactite caves.

Before hopping in your canoe, your boat tour breeze through waters whose color reminds you of emeralds.

Visit the Khai Nok and Khai Nui Islands

You can get to these islands by booking a boat tour. Once there, you’ll be greeted with white-sanded beaches lined with palm trees. The water is turquoise colored, which you’ll only see in this part of the world.

Your family will enjoy relaxing on the beach or snorkeling in the waters.

Zip line Through the Canopies

Zip line through Phuket’s dense jungles lets you enjoy the landscape from a different angle while pushing your adrenaline level up.

It’s safe and fun for everyone and something that will be memorable for everyone.

Visit the Islands of Coral and Racha

Set aside a whole day to explore and soak in the beauty of these two Thai islands.

Here you can snorkel and see for yourself the beautiful and thriving underwater life or relax on the white-colored sand.
After being picked up from your hotel, you’ll take a 30-minute ride to the port and climb onto a boat for the day and get snorkel gear if you like. You’ll first go to Coral Island and then Racha after lunch.

Bike Tour Through the Countryside

Bike tours will take you and your family out of the tourist district to see more of the local life and culture.

You can bike through villages, farms, and even plantations. Part of the tour takes you through a sanctuary and protected area for the gibbon apes.
