This 1.3km stretch is currently the world’s largest open-air mural collection with over 100 paintings from artists around the world. Murals with various political statements and significance have been painted onto the walls to create this gallery.
3. Märchenbrunnen
Another must-see in this beautiful district is The Fairytale Fountain. Tucked into the south-western entrance to the VolksparkFriedrichshain, this amazing water fountain could make you say a million words. The sculptures around the fountain represent characters from fairy tales that were famous at the time it was built (1893-1913) – Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Red Riding Hood, Snow White, etc.
